Functional adjustment and reform of research institutes
(including creation, consolidation, and

Board of Directors sessions consist of Regular Sessions(three times a year, Mar., May, and Dec.) and Ad hoc Sessions

Appointed by the Prime Minister through publicly recruitment or among the group of candidates recommended by the recommendation committee

- Vice-Minister of Economy and Finance, 1st vice minister of Office for Government Policy Coordination
- Six out of the Vice-Ministers (or Minister of Government Legislation) of the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Science and ICT, Ministry Of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Unification, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of the Interior, Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Ministry of Health and Welfare, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Employment and Labor, Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries.
